Selecting the right counselor for you can be a difficult decision, but the right fit can be profoundly life changing.
I work with a broad spectrum of clients with various life histories and difficulties, including survivors of trauma and violence, those struggling with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, and individuals struggling in their interpersonal relationships.
My approach is interactive and collaborative; my goal is to help my clients clarify their own therapeutic and life goals, and we quickly get to work pursuing them. While all of the work I do is evidence-based, I view each individual as unique and refrain from one standard form of treatment.
After years of working with adults and children, I have the utmost respect for the resiliency of the human spirit.
I am committed to providing a non-judgmental space where, working at a pace that is comfortable and safe, we will alleviate past pain and hurts, and focus on improving your current quality of life.
“I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood.” – Audre Lorde
